Storage

Keep products in a cool, dry, dark area.  If products melt in hot weather or during shipping, simply place it in the refrigerator until it stiffens back up.  This does not affect the quality of the product.  During warmer months, we will freeze the product before shipping and package with dry ice, but we can not guarantee it will not melt during shipping. 

Shelf life of tallow products is 6-12 months at room temperature, and 12 months - 2 years if kept frozen.  Because of the inconsistency of using various all natural ingredients, the expiration date can vary.  If product shows signs of mold or smells sour, the entire unit should be thrown away.
